Project Overview
The Objective of this project was to explore disparate information in an interesting way regarding a topic I’m passionate about as a user/consumer. The goal was to create a Guide centered on this topic in two formats—a folded guide and a layout for an app. My topic of choice was centered around all of the best golf courses that I have played in sunny San Diego.
Course Information
On the initial side the viewer sees, shows all of the golf courses, alongside yelp reviews, imagery, and icons. I aimed to have the typography lead the viewer’s eye through the brochure.
Course Location
On the backside of the brochure, I implemented a map of San Diego with pinpointed locations of where the listed golf courses are. There is also a small map key to make sense of the icons.

The typography in this project is all Hoefler. I used various scaling techniques, point size, and color to create a simple and effective layout.
